At Kaki, I believe that the best workouts happen amidst the breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand.

 

My journey began with a simple yet powerful vision: to inspire more people to embrace an active lifestyle while connecting with the beauty of nature that surrounds us.

Driven by a passion for sustainability and a love for the great outdoors, I set out to create activewear that not only performs at the highest level but also leaves a positive impact on the environment. By harnessing the versatility and sustainability of plant-based materials like hemp, I craft each piece with care, ensuring that every stitch reflects my commitment to eco-conscious practices.

The name 'Kaki' was chosen, inspired by the color khaki green, representing the importance of keeping the New Zealand outdoors clean, green , and beautiful. Like camo green used in the army, 'Kaki' embodies qualities such as strength, unity, and understanding. Additionally, 'Kaki' honours New Zealand's unique Maori culture—it's the Maori name for the endangered NZ black stilt bird, reminding us to protect our environment and Maori traditions.

My slogan, 'Stay Active In Nature', encapsulates my mission to encourage individuals to explore, move, and thrive in the natural playground that is New Zealand. Whether you're hiking through lush forests, practicing yoga on sandy beaches, or conquering mountain trails, my activewear is designed to empower you every step of the way.
